The Church & It’s Inner Demons

Tuesday 22nd 2022

Could there be demons within the body of Christ?

Within the so called "Saints of God?" Listen to a reader's perspective of the teachings from Apostle John ENUMAH, INSPIRED BY The Holy Spirit.

I have become increasingly perplexed and frustrated when I think about the different factors that is still accumulating in constructing this message even until this very day.

The CHURCH And IT’S INNER Demons. The Church refers to the body of Christ, but the body of Christ, referring to the saints and we also know them as God’s people or in your local place of worship: The Workforce.

Many people wonder and have started to openly ask even at this point of civilisation if the Church is corrupt and if the corruption is spilling from the confinements of the four walls that many have bound themselves to “doing Church” into society today. It is no surprise because in all the talks that “love is the greatest thing” very little is reflected in our lives as individuals and as one moving mechanism; we call this hypocrisy.

Before proceeding, we must highlight the differences between weakness and wickedness. Weakness simply refers to the errors made internally and externally that is acknowledged in active efforts to change and live life pleasing to God. Whereas wickedness refers to any act of sin that is done intentionally, with ulterior motive or continually without remorse or true steps to change. The sad news is that the wickedness of Christians today overshadow the genuine sacrifices and efforts of others, even through their weakness.

The last factor within this chronology, after the Church is it’s INNER DEMONS! Some might be asking “how could there be demons within Church, surely we would be able to tell!” But my friend, it is not so simple. 2 Corinthians 10:14 says ‘The weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds.’ In other words, Paul was trying to say that there is more than what meets the eye! Referring to the Physical eye! Beloved, it takes grace, discernment and caution to noticed a rotten egg!

People are shaped by the content they allow to be poured into themselves. We pick up on habits and we all know that old habits die hard! When certain traits are brought into the Church and after the Biblical principles of addressing it with a brother, elders and in front of the Church, they must be sent out according to Matthew 18. I tell you this day, it is better to cut off the arm than allow the whole body to be polluted and be cast out or die.

2 Corinthians 10:12: ‘Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall.’ This scripture implies many including the following: Pray For Your Brother & Sister! We Are All Prone to falling which is why we are advised to take heed. Demons does not refer to Satan the Devil in this context, but actually his actions manifesting between ourselves. Actions that include gossiping, backbiting and any form of unfriendliness. Why Do Christians Fight Themselves? I ask this questions rhetorically because if we stood to pray for a brother when they’re falling or uplifted a sister in every way, then many people would not have been cast out or felt the need to leave. If there is anything that you should take from this is the fact that a soul lost from the kingdom is disgraceful and against the will of God. Hereford before treating your brother like a tax collector, before things get too far, we address it and deal with it according which also conceals and protects the body from the outside, furthermore encouraging others to join the body of Christ. This is our mandate even as one entity.

Let us stop focusing on the outside and start from within, after all, the change we want to see, must first begin with each of us!
